Race of Riderless Horses, ascribed to Theodor Gericault (1791 - 1824). A study for a lost composition inspired by the Barbieri Races on de Corso. Oil sketch on cardboard, 31 x 61 cm. X-ray, UV and infra-red work was performed by Dr. Jan Rutkowski.
Deposited in the Jagiellonian University Museum, Collegium Maius, Krakow, Poland.
