Portrait of a man in oriental attire, circle of Rembrandt, 17th century. Oil on canvas, 95 x 76 cm. This painting has been transferred to new canvas in France. X-ray work was performed by Dr. Björn Hallström.
A similar, yet very different, Rembrandt painting exists in the Devonshire collection. The Devonshire painting is of a sick man (with leprosy ?) while this painting depicts a very healthy person.
Donated to the Jagiellonian University Museum, Collegium Maius, Krakow, Poland (1995).
