Landscape with a Mill, ascribed to Rembrandt (1606 - 1669). Signed "Rembrandt f. 1627". Oil on panel, 23.2 x 31.5 cm. Physical and chemical analyses of the painting point towards it being authentic. The analyses performed by Dr. Jan Rutkowski, at the Academy of Fine Art in Krakow, Poland, were: ultra-violet, infra-red, sodium, X-ray, microscopic cross-section and microscopic photograph. Dr Tomasz Wazny examined dendrochronology. X-ray work and macro photography of signature was performed by Dr. Björn Hallström.
