St. John the Evangelist, by Anthony van Dyck. Oil on canvas, 64 x 54 cm, doubled linen.  Two expert opinions, by Didier Bodart, Erik Larsen, certify its authenticity.

Could be a study of the head of St John the Evangelist for the painting "Two St. Johns", which was painted by van Dyck in the studio of Rubens, 1618 - 1620.   The "Two St. Johns" painting was destroyed in 1945 in Berlin.

Deposited in the Jagiellonian University Museum,  Collegium Maius, Krakow, Poland.
