Carthage, by J. M.W. Turner (?) (1775 - 1851).  Oil on canvas, 91 x 137 cm.  The painting was deposited at Christie's in London by Mr. Drysdale in 1919 (nr. 288 C.V.).  In 1942 the painting was exhibited at the "Exhibition of English Painting" at the St. Lucas Gallery in Stockholm.
